- Ideal for repairing damaged threads in cranks and saving high-end cranks.
- Includes a set of reaming taps (left and right hand) and 5 L&H threaded inserts
- Mandatory use of CD-77000 cutting fluid
- Application :
- Remove and create a new, oversized thread (5/8x24 tpi) in the crankarm using the taps
- Ensure you use the correct tap thread for the corresponding crankarm (the "L" marking indicates a left-hand thread)
- Must be used with CD-77000 cutting fluid
- The taps fit the DV-04340 tap handle
- Coat the outside of the reducing bushing with NL-77500 threadlocker, then screw it into the new thread
- Finally, reinstall the pedal spindle into the threaded bushing
- Composition :
- 1 set of 2 reaming taps 5/8x24 tpi (Right and Left)
- 5 threaded bushings for right-side crankarms
- 5 threaded bushings for left-side crankarms
